The greatest business minds in the world give away all their answers to starting and running businesses for free.
The greatest happiness gurus do the same.
The greatest athletes do it too...
A lot of people who have achieved big things in their lives love sharing exactly how they did it...
And yet, we don't listen to them.
Why don't we listen?
I rarely meet somebody who wants to have a boring, stable 9-5 job, go on vacation once a year, and retire when they're 60+.
Is that what you want?
And yet... when millionaires and billionaires tell us exactly how to make a moderate amount to lots of money and be happy... we ignore them.
Maybe it's because most wealthy people are self-made and know that "making it" takes a lot of hard work and patience... and most poor people just want results right now...
Is that the case with you?
In my opinion, 10 years is better than never. 20 years is better than never. 50 years... dying trying is better than never.
...and the best time to plant a tree is yesterday.
What are the secrets?
Here's what I've observed...
All of the great business people that I admire say these things in one form or another when they try to describe how to be successful:
- work hard
- dedicate yourself
- have patience
- fail often and learn fast
And that's just about it.
Give or take... that's all of them. Those are all the "secrets" to success...
Gary Vaynerchuk, Elon Musk, Richard Branson... they all say these same. exact. things.
over.
and.
over.
again...
again and again...
They literally couldn't be more clear if they were bells made of crystal ringing in broad daylight.
... and yet: almost nobody is actually listening to them.
What are we waiting for? A formal invitation? Gary Vaynerchuk to personally look you in the face and tell you that these 4 things will literally make all of your dreams come true?
Well... he actually does that. All the time.
... and people STILL don't listen to him.
And just about every other self-made successful person will tell you the exact same things as well.
We know what we need to do.
We're not stupid. We know what we need to do to be successful.
We're just... I don't know what.
Afraid?
In our comfort zone?
I propose a solution:
Get used to fear. Make it your best friend... and just start doing what you know you need to do to get to where you know you want to be.
Oh, and listen to smart people... then figure out how to apply their knowledge to your own life.
Peace, love and cinnamon rolls, homies.
